Shopping CRAZE

Have you ever seen how women shop during a sale?

Now considering that i have been chiong-ing MNG(mango) sales for the past few years, I thought that i have seen it all, and experienced it all. Up till yesterday.

Isetan Private SALE.

Every freaking floor of Isetan Scotts (L1-L5) was filled with people (mostly women).
Every single woman had an isetan plastic bag to collect her "trophies".
(i didnt see men carrying the bag)
See, the system worked like this. You can put anything you fancied into the plastic bag first, while browsing through the 5 floors worth of clothes, shoes, etc. Finally, you just had to make your purchase at the counter before leaving.
So imagine, women were carrying plastic bags filled with clothes and shoe boxes and the changing room/ cashier queues were snaking long.

The worst part is... the women's clothings area.
It was so crowded, it was nearly impossible to browse through the clothes.
You had to push and shove your way around, just to get NEAR the hangers.
And after being pushed/ shoved a few times, and circling the area a few times, you will start to realise.. its either you join in or lose out (e.g. go home empty handed).

So there...
i managed to grab: (And i mean really GRAB)
1. 3 Tops
(1 from TOPSHOP, 1 from JOOP and 1 from THEME->Auntie brand but not so crowded)
2. 1 pair of Asics Shoes
(woohooo.. spoilt my sports shoes in the marathon -see earlier posts)
3. 1 pair of work shoes

TOTAL DAMAGE : $225 + 1 bruise on my hand (not kidding) + blisters on feet (my new shoes gave me blisters!!! :( )

So anyway, theres the Isetan Private Sale.

I am so going to apply for leave and go there super super early for the next sale.
The early bird catches the worm........
