The Legendary Mosquito plant

Let me introduce everyone to ... the mosquito plant.
According to my mum, this plant will keep the mosquitoes away from my room.
I was full of disbelief initially... plants will breed mosquitoes and yet she claims it will drive them away?? But apparently this plant need not be watered thus will not be a breeding ground.
Anyway, it works. Really!! I didnt get a single mosquito bite yesterday!
Will continue testing this plant..
