Gemini Me

I made an interesting discovery yesterday.

Well, it wasn't exactly a discovery, more of a relevation-i would say.

So I was catching up with my friends, and one of them mentioned that i tried to make my own earrings once. After her casual comment, it suddenly triggered my memory that i really did attempt such a thing, albeit it was probably like more than 6-7 years ago?

All of a sudden, my various short-lived experiences came to mind.
- tried to hand- make earrings
- tried to sew my own wallet
- bought a cook book and tried to bake muffins but gave up (the muffins tasted like scones)
- took japanese lessons and gave up
- took korean lessons and gave up too
- then i took french lessons and gave up
- tried my hand at knitting, couldn't even finish a scarf
- damn, i even tried to write a book(autobiography)!! i wrote a paragraph for my friend to vet, and errr.. i gave up
- my sparse blog. i started this blog in 2006. Its been 3 years, and i am supposed to keep a record of all the nice stuff that i buy/ see online. (thats why its called smallprettythings.blogspot.com) And look what happened, its almost defunct now.

Ahhhhh... and just when i got really depressed, thinking of all my half hearted and shortlived "hobbies", my friend provided me with a viable reason.
And the reason is, my friend, that.. i am a GEMINI!!!!

See? Blame it all on my horoscope.
A gemini is fickle and restless!!
A gemini likes to tackle many things but lacks the follow through!!!

Phew, it is such a relief to find out the REAL reason behind my many failures.

P.s: hehe, but i am intellectually inclined, bright and quick witted too, okay!! :P
