Here are some of my purchases...
1.
Recommended by my friend, she claims that its reallly effective. So i bought and tried it. Basically its a patch that you put on your pimple at night, and the next morning when you wake up, voila! the nasty pimple is dried up. I've tried it several times, and yes it works! No more squeezing of pimples!
2.
I quote from the ZA website: "A lightweight, super-smooth balm that instantly reduces the appearance of pores. Absorbs excess oil and instantly leaves skin silky-matte." I couldn't resist buying it, especially when it came in such a nice electric blue case. However, i would rate this as a gimmick. Doesn't work as it claims and my pores don't look any smaller. :( So this is tucked away in my cupboard and left unused.
3.
This is supposed to be treatment water to reduce frizz and flyaway hair. Yeah as you know i am constantly getting BAD HAIR DAYS so i wanted something to tame my hair. Finished using the entire bottle already, but to be honest, i don't think its THAT good. It's fun though, feels as if i am watering my hair everyday. (The spraying effect reminds me of a watering can) But i guess if i replace normal H20 with the "treatment" water inside the spray bottle, i would probably not notice the difference. Or maybe my BAD hair day is so terrible that this spray can't "manage" my hair.
4.
Dove leave on lotion. This really works! It tames my wild hair and keeps it manageable. The downside though, is that it makes my hair "wet" and has a really strong fragrance. Most people mistakenly think that i put on a strong perfume when they walk past me. So i guess, this is not for people with allergies.
5.
I just bought this recently. There is an offer for this product- spend 10 dollars or more and get it at 9 dollars! Good deal right? And i think it smells good! :)
6. (Disclaimer: bought in SASA not in WATSONS)
Aren't the Japanese ultra innovative? Wearing hairbands always make my hair go out of shape, especially in the morning. So, Tadah! To solve our hair woes, the Japs have come out with this cute product. It's like two pieces of velcroy that you stick on your hair. And it holds your hair so that you can do your face mask without your hair falling down. And the amazing thing is.. It does NOT hurt at all when you remove it from your hair. No hair loss either! And it doesn't add tension to our head. So, no more headaches caused by hairbands! Note: Heehee, his product is good for sheet face masks where u lie down, but not that good for washing your face where you have to put your face down. Gravity... still pulls your hair down.
Haha, there are still many many other frivolous stuff that i have hoarded. Watsons should just hire me as a product tester! I won't mind doing this for a living. Testing and writing product recommendations.... :)
